In honor of the 40th anniversary of the Miami Dolphins 1972 Perfect Season, the organization will host a special world premiere for “More Than Perfect. One Team, One Town. The Untold Impact of the 1972 Miami Dolphins

The film, produced by Bombo Sports & Entertainment in cooperation with NFL Films, is a one of a kind feature that will shed new light on one of team sports greatest achievements through a series of never-before-seen footage and exclusive interviews with both players and community leaders. “More Than Perfect” documents the unifying and transformative impact that the Perfect Season had on South Florida.“This documentary is not a highlight film,” said Miami Dolphins CEO Mike Dee. “While the story will tell what this team accomplished on the field– milestones that have never again been accomplished in 92 years of modern professional football – it will also serve to tell the story of what this team meant to the city and the impact on modern day Miami 40 years later.”
This project underscores the commitment of owner Stephen Ross to honor the great history of the organization. In recent years, the Dolphins have created a Don Shula statue and renamed the street leading into Sun Life Stadium to 347 Don Shula Drive. The organization has also re-commissioned a long time statue of Joe Robbie and created the Joe Robbie Alumni Plaza and Alumni Walk of Fame.
